Our history

The F.L.A.M.E.S (Fierce Ladies Achieving Ministry and Entrepreneurial Success) Fellowship was officially kicked off during the first Evening of the Elite on November 17, 2012. It successfully brought together women, across the U.S., to one place to network, fellowship and enjoy the noncompetitive rest of company amongst like-minded women. This fellowship launched a series of networks that put F.L.A.M.E.S on conferences, retreats, revivals, events and kindled friendships that may never have ignited without the vision of the F.L.A.M.E.S CEO, Lady FIRE, Dr. Victoria Harris.

The vision of F.L.A.M.E.S is simply to network and promote the fellowship of leading ladies fostering the

generation of platforms that will propel ministries and business to God ordained heights. We look to deteriorate the stigma of women in ministry and business having to compete and tear down one another to get to the next level replacing it with the right mind that by building one another there is no level we cannot reach in Christ!

F.L.A.M.E.S are considered any woman who is in an evident leading role in ministry and/or business that embraces femininity, Biblical foundation and faith in the development of family, community and ministry. She exudes grace, exemplifies elegance, embraces confidence, empowers others and is well sought after for the gifts, talents and anointing that God has placed within. She in essence is a Fierce Lady Achieving Ministry and Entrepreneurial Success! Membership does not make you a FLAME, lifestyle does! Any woman exemplifying the characteristics above is considered a FLAME. No commitment is necessary to attend any of our public events. We welcome all women in ministry and business to join us in fellowship, opening doors and establishing platforms for one another. 

Intending to be but a small occasional gathering with the momentum and hand of God F.L.A.M.E.S expanded to chapters outside of its DMV origin! Chapters emerged in Maryland, DC, Virginia, Ohio, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Delaware and beyond. 

There is an official membership base that unlocks the benefits of not just the fellowship but the organization. Governed by multiple tiers (levels) women are ranked within the organization based on their accomplishments, achievements and ascensions. There are some F.L.A.M.E.S who agree to support the vision and have chosen to partner by becoming members of the movement! These F.L.A.M.E.S help propel and nurture the vision to enhance opportunities and development among each other thereby included in our F.L.A.M.E.S Directory. Some become State Liaisons igniting chapters of elite women fellowships throughout the U.S. They host fellowships over dinner, or other arenas that foster

relaxation, comradery and support! Some become Regional Directors to join the fellowships across state lines. 2014 was the first year we started to travel with a “Six State Trail BLAZE Movement", where F.L.A.M.E.S hit the streets and airways igniting chapters across the U.S.! We traveled over the years, paused during the pandemic and the trail got cold but 2024 the call has gone out and the BLAZE begins again!
